Disney Live @ Singapore Indoor Stadium

On 21st November 2008, we went for the Disney Live Show at 3:30pm

It was a great show & something both my girls enjoyed.

The only setback is Mehr's LOVE for Mickey, she gets super excited when Mickey & Gang came on stage. However, the moment they went backstage, my lil Mehr went mad with anger coz she only wants them.

Hmm... and thats when I can be seen "wrestling" with her trying to pacify her! Phew... Thank God, I have my friend Maimon who was sitting near us, so there is some help for me.

Overall, the show is really fantastic. The costumes made me go WOW!

Event: Long Service Award Ceremony

On this day, Neelu & her classmates from the Nursery 1A & Nursery 1B was asked to perform a dance.

Neelu with her classmates danced to the song Dancing Queen by ABBA, although its the first time for the kids, they did very well! All so full of energy & having lots of fun.

This October is a month full of celebrations.

Firstly on 22nd October 2008, Neelu & Mehr had HARI RAYA celebration in school & they went to school in Kebaya(Neelu) & Baju Kurung(Mehr).

And today, they had Deepaval Celebration with so much dance!!!

My Lil Princess Mehrnaz @ 10 months old!

That is my Lil Mehrnaz for now. She is really full of mischief & a dare-devil too, which is unlike her very "princessy" sister, Neelu. They are just the total opposite of each other. Mehr is now trying to walk & she can eat almost anything though she do not even have a single tooth!

Yes, for a 10-month old girl she is still toothless! Hahaha, so watever she eat she chew with her gums. She is really one hyperbaby that is really draining all my energy, but she can be really sweet & funny sometimes. Neelu is for sure unable to sleep without her even for a day!

Its been 3 days now since my 2 girls moved out of my room & sleep in their own room. Neelu enjoyed it as it makes her feel so grown-up coz she can "take care" of Mehr at nite!

On 20th July, Mehrnaz participated in another Baby Show @ Chong Pang CC.

I feel that this is the best so far that i have attended coz they had Meadjohsons as one of their sponsors! So that means we get free milk from ENFA :)

On top of that, since Mehrnaz won herself a consolation prize, she got a tropy & a hamper with a tin of Enfapro A+ milk powder & some other goodies from Meadjonhsons as well as pampers & baby foodstuff.

Today marks our 10th year together!!

10 years ago, on this day at around this time of the afternoon, I was on my way to meet him for the first time.

Meeting point was at Bishan MRT station & heading to Junction 8, which back then was quite a cool place to hang out.

We watched a movie called Warewolf in Paris followed by a late lunch at a nearby coffeeshop (can't afford to go to fancy places as he is still in Poly!)

Later, just before he drop me home, we went to the park nearby Khatib MRT just to chit chat. :)

After that date, I never thought I will ever see him again coz he wasn't really my type of guy.hehehe...

However, things don't go as I planned as he managed to make me feel comfortable & we started dating. Things wasn't so smooth durinh the initial stage of our relationship as we learn to know & understand each other better. Anyway, we managed to slowly overcome most of our differences & live together.

I believe ALLAH knows whats best for us, coz after lots & lots of UPS & DOWNS & INS & OUTS... here we are still together & married with 2 precious princesses of our own.

To the man I met 10 years ago on this day,

Today is Mehr's first attempt in a Baby Show.

And I am glad to say that she did quite well, though she actually have a very bad nappy rash now due to a medication she took last week.

Today's contest , Baby Singapore 2008 - Healthy Baby Contest at Ang Mo Kio CC.

She managed to get a consolation prize despite having rashes:)

I guess it must have been her smile & friendliness that got her through. Yeah, and also her blabbering. She was actually having a conversation with the lil rubber duckie the judge hand to her. She grabbed it & started "nagging" at the duckie! Hahaha..

The judge said, "She has such a sweet smile & look she is so responsive"

Anyway, I did not get to take many pics coz the place is just so SUPER CROWDED!! Will have to wait for more photos from the organiser.

What Neelu saw today

As usual, during my lunchtime I will be in the child care centre with my girls.

I will first fetch Neelu from her class, then we proceed to Mehr's class & bring Mehr over to Neelu's class again. They will lie down together on Neelu's mattress till Neelu doze off. After that, I will bring Mehr back to her class, sit in the special corner in the room to breastfeed Mehr till she fall asleep. After all that, I will then go back to office & have my late lunch.

Anyway, today as I was about to enter Mehr's class together with Neelu,

she spotted this on the door.

She was so happy that she spotted her Lil Sister's photo before me :)

Each time I tried cleaning her amrpit she starts to giggle..

She is growing up well.

Apart from her normal milk intake, she also have biscuits for breakfast & cereals in the late afternoon. On top of all that, she is still being breastfed.

Overall, this Lil Angel of mine is so sweet coz she no longer wake up for night feeds.

She gave me full rest at night!

Neelufer's "Barbie as the Island Princess" Theme Party

Now that my Princess Neelu is a big girl, she decide the theme for her own Birthday Party. Since she is now so crazy over Barbie as the Island Princess,

This is what she wants.

For that, I have to do a lil bit more work to look out for the costume. As for deco, we use some deco stuff from her previous 2 parties.

However, this year's party is more interesting as her Godma, Manisha gifted her with a party host. She engaged the service from Kids' Fantasy Parties. The hostess came dressed up as Barbie the Island Princess as well.. They organised games for the kids & craft activites as well.

Let me just summarize how the day went:-

17th Feb 2008

-Checked in to Aranda Country Club, Suite 2214 at 3pm

-Started decorating the place with blue, purple & pink balloons hanging from the ceiling.(*Thans Aqid for climbing up & down!)

-Set the table with island princess table cover, plates & paper cups

Soon , the cake arrived.

-6:00pm, start dressing up my Lil Princess Neelu. Make-up & hairdo by MYSELF! After that I changed Mehr to her Cinderella costume as well!

-7:00pm the hostess & her assistant arrived

-7:30pm they started colouring activites for the kids to warm them up.

For the craft activites, the kids made magic wands & swords!

-1st game start soon after, they threw a bag of colored balls all around the room & get the kids to pick them up & put in the respective coloured baskets.

-2nd game-Hot potatoes, just like passing parcel

-3rd game - They took a very BIG blanket, get the kids to hold each end of it & they threw balls into it. The kids have to make sure the balls don't roll off the blanket. Later, they got the adults to hold the end of the blanket while the kids go under it

-4th game is the Dance & Freeze

-5th game, is creepy crawlers (I think)

The last game is catch the colored bubbles!

By 8:45pm, they cut the cake & party ended soon after.

One thing for sure, all the kids had great fun.

Especially so for Neelu as her dream came true. For her, Barbie the Island Princess have attended her party & she even get to dance with her IDOL & take lots of pics with her!

18th Feb, we went to the Wild Wild Wet & had a great time. My mum bought a bikini for my Lil Mehr & its exactly the same as Neelu's!

Swinging Good Time!!!!

Now that my Lil Angel, Mehr can sit up with support, I took this swing out for her. This swing was handed down to Neelu when she was a few months old by Mimid. It actually belong to my nephew Salman who is turning 7 this year. I have to say this swing is really a good buy, coz even after almost 7 years it is still in a very good condition! And most importantly, babies enjoy sitting in the swing that they even fell asleep in it :)

My soon to be 4 month old Lil Mehrnaz is a cheeky girl who loves smiling & giggling. Most of all, she enjoy being talked to especially with her Papa. Hmmm.. seems like both of my babies are Papa's Girls!

As for my Lil Princess Neelufer, she will be turning 3 this month! Therefore, we've been quite busy preparing for her birthday party on the 17th February. For this year's party, I make sure she help me in the preparations as well as picking out some party items. She gladly help me with all those lil things coz she is just so EXCITED about this party.

Reason: She CHOSE the theme for this party.

A BIG congrats to John & Manisha.

He is hubby's good friend & polymate.

She is my BEST friend & my daughters' Godma.

They got married yesterday, 19th Jan 2008 @ Aangan Restaurant.

They look really good together & Manisha look SO GORGEOUS

The whole event is just so beautiful & definitely FUN!

Loads of music & dancing too which Neelu obviously enjoy.

After the event, we sent our 2 princesses to their Nani's place. My mum babysit them while we went clubbing with the bride & groom at Rupees Room.

Oh yeah, we felt really "OLD" there since its been ages since we last stepped into a disco! Hahaha.. overall, we still had fun watching the "YOUNGER" ones dance their night away.

By about 4:00am we left the club & went JB to pump petrol for the car & wash it as well. Reached my mum's place almost 5:30am, & we just woke up!

Hehehe.. thankfully my mum is understanding enough to babysit our girls while we club & even let us sleep thru today while she take care of the kids :)

Ok, I better go now coz gotta go home soon. For now, I shall leave you guys with pix from yesterday's wonderful event.

Happy 3 month old MEHRNAZ!!!

Today my Lil Angel, Mehrnaz turn 3 month old. She is a smiley baby now & loves to be talked to. The best of all is that she responds with her "oooo, aaaa, khuuu, ager

Mehr has also started rolling. Just yesterday, she rolled from sideways to face up.

She gets a long very well with her Didi too. They seem to love each other's company for now. Just like in this pic!

By 3rd March, both Mehr & Neelu will be back in school coz I have to start work by the 5th March. I am sure she gonna learn more in school but then I won't really miss them much coz they are just next door :)

I can still go & see them whenever I want & best of all, I can still continue to breastfeed Mehr!

As I am typing this, both are fast asleep. Must be tired after sometime at the playground just now. So, I'm gonna go join them soon.

Wedding.. Wedding.. Wedding!!!!!!!!

The last two weeks had been a very hectic BUT fun for us.

On the 22nd of Dec, my cuzzin Mohammed or better known as Faizal finally got married. He is a year my senior :) His bride look very lovely on that day. However, the best part is that even after knowing him for close to 30 years, I've never seen him dance. Finally he did it on his wedding day & all I can say is that HE CAN REALLY DANCE the BIG B style (he's always been a BIG B fan though!) Some pix from his wedding day can be found HERE.

The second wedding is of another close cuzzin of mine, Redzwan. His was a nice traditional wedding. Neelu is one of the flower girls for that day. Together with her, we have my darling God-daughter/niece Syehnaz & my cuzzin Feerza. For the lil Best"boys" we have my nephews, Salman, Ameer & Fardeen.

The kiddos look so cute all dressed up in gowns & suits. The bride look so sweet & pretty.

Our 1st Shopping Adventure.. Just the THREE of us!

Yesterday, we had a FUN day out shopping!

Just the three of us!

ME & My 2 lil princessess only!!!

We left home at around 1pm. I sat both of them in the pram & head down to Compass Point by the MRT. The initial plan was to let Neelu do some painting at one of the shops there, have lunch then go home.

The fisrt stop is the painting shop. Neelu did 2 paintings in all.

One is of a Mermaid .............................................. & another of a rooster.

The mermaid looks ok, but the ROOSTER is SCARY!!!! Its tooo colourful & bright for a rooster!

Anyway, while doing her painting at the shop, she must have caught the attention of 1 nice Chinese lady. The lady suddenly came up to me & gave me the Princess Makeover pass. She told me to take Neelu for the makeover. So from there, our plan changed!

Neelu thanked her & as soon as she finish her painting, we went up to the makeover counter. She chose Ariel's Costume & she's transformed into a Little Mermaid.

After her makeover session, we went for our late lunch at Burger King & later head down to Kiddy Place to shop for Mehr's stuff.

Suddenly, I feel like trimming her hair & mine. So I "slow talk" her & after a LOOOOOONG talk I managed to convince her to enter the saloon. We sat at the kid's corner & the hairstylist work on her.

Initially, she look very worried but after all is done & she realise that her hair is still long. she is happy. By then, Lil Mehr is already hungry & crying for milk. Therefore, we went to the library so that Neelu can do some READINg while I feed Mehr milk.

That is already almost 6:30pm. We decided to wait for Hubby at Compass Point. He arrived close to 7:30pm & we set off to my Bro's place in Choa Chu Kang for dinner & finally reach home around 11:30pm!

Phew!!!!!! We had a VERY LONG DAY!! It was tiring but at the end of it Neelu has SO MUCH FUN & so do Mehr!

From a "Princess Cinderella" to "Ustazah Neelufer" ??

Nowadays, she always wants to join us whenever we pray. The reason is because as she said" I can wear TODONG (telekung) like Aysha Mami". So Aysha, you seem to be her role model.

Anyway, since she do not have a proper set of telekung yet, we made do with this.

These are taken when she did HER Dzuhur prayers today.

My 1st FAIRYTALE experience!

Yesterday, Mummy & Papa took me to Compass Point for my Disney Princess Makeover. Though its for kiddos aged 4-12, I am still given a chance as I can pass off as a 4 year old! Hehehe...

Anyway, I had a great time of my life, treated like a princess & more like a model after that.. To top it up, I have my phots taken in Polaraid too...

The aunty(organiser) even complimented me, saying that I am the most adorable & pretty entree so far & the youngest too! Hehehe.. this really made me SMILE!!!

However, just like Cinderella.. Reality soon set in! I have to return the gown, accessories & shoes to them! This made me cry!! I even begged Mummy, "Please Mummy , dun take out my dress!!" But too bad, rules are rules, all haev to be returned!

However, I am still VERY HAPPY coz i have pics & videos of my fantastic experience..

Princess Mehrnaz is back HOME!!!!!!!

Finally, after almost three weeks at the hospital, Mehrnaz has been discharged yesterday afternoon. The moment Hubby called me at around 11:00am to inform me, I just burst out crying! I can't help it. So unexpected & I am SO HAPPY!!

Without even taking my shower, I just changed my dress & together wif Neelu got into a cab & rushed down to the hospital.

Mehr is all ready & waiting for us. Hubby left office soon after & met us there.

Now, all are back at home. Safe & Sound :)

Gosh, though the last three weeks have been such a hectic & tiring period for us, but i find it so worthwhile coz my daughter is now well & fine.

Mehrnaz Zahra born on 11th October 2007 at 8:48am in East Shore Hospital.

Though born a lil premature at 34+ weeks, she weighs 3.19kg and is 53cm tall at birth.

She Finally Did It!!!!!!!!!

She is now DIAPERS-FREE all day & also during her afternoon naps

(still on diapers for bedtime!)

However, that is a big achievement for us indeed!

Therefore, this post is specially dedicated to our Lil Princess Neelufer for all the efforts she had put in to be officially toilet-trained.

Not forgetting her Papa too.. for all those mopping & cleaning up after her during those training days!

Updates on my Lil Angel No.2 at 26 weeks old

At long last, my little swimmer can see the womb! My miracle’s little eyelids have finally separated (they were fused closed previously) and she's probably having her first moments of sight as you read this. In addition to seeing her little studio in my belly, she have recently acquired the ability to say “yes” and “no” in rudimentary sign language as she can now move her head back and forth. This is also the time where my little super star’s head hair is starting to grow! A cute little cowlick or two may be springing into position right now, getting ready for years of cute-but-stubborn bed-head. Also, her toenails have grown in and my little raisin continues to slowly pile up fat beneath her still-loose skin. Most importantly, brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace, increasing her (genius-level?) brain activity and will continue to function at accelerated levels for the first seven to eight years of childhood!

Me & Hubby have also shorlisted a name for her (which I shall disclose in time to come). And so do Neelu! If asked, she will say that Lil Angel No.2's name is "DARLING"!

Hahaha.. thats how much she LOVE her lil Sister now. Well, we shall wait & see after baby is born. Then we will know if she will still be Neelu's Darling or ?????

Thats about all for now, till my next appointment with my gynae on 1st September.

Yeah, Hubby just bought me this 2 days ago coz I LOST my Nokia 6280! Its so coz my Memory Card was gone along wif some of Neelu's videoclips!!!!

Yeah, it was carelesness on my part that I lost it . However, it was definitely DISHONEST of that B***H who took the phone .

She is shameless enough to answer the call & say its the wrong number! And later rejected a few of my calls before switiching it off!!!!

I dun really mind losing the phone BUT so sad to have lost the Memory Card as well as all my contacts!! AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Anyway, on a more positive note, I got myself a new & nicer phone! With a U-Track function as well!! Better picture quality too!!

~We Went & Now We Are Back~

Location : Harris Resort @ Batam Island

Purpose : R & R before I give birth again!

This is our 1st holiday together (ONLY the 3 of us).

I was quite worried initially as I was unsure if we could cope with her & the luggage as well coz I myself am carrying another "luggage" in me! Hehehehe..

Anyway, things went really well. Neelu is very co-operative. She followed instructions & enjoyed herself. The hotel is good, really good. Service staff very friendly, prompt & helpful.

Food is good too..

Overall, the hotel is really family-friendly. They had some activities for children as well, like fishing & farming (all free!). Apart from that, they have Go-Kart, Flying Fox & War Games for adults!

Celebrating Racial Harmony Day

Today, all the kiddos in Neelu's school were told to wear a traditional costume in celebration of Racial Harmony Day.

Neelu being the very excited gal, woke up early this morning.

She happily get dressed & even applied some lipgloss, saying that she'll be going to a "party"!

By about 8am, we reached school & she happily walked in to the music room to "show off" her costume & watch some songs on TV while waiting for her frens.

When a teacher asked who bought for her, she said "Ais go China buy for me ok" HAHAHAHA!! She can such a "show-off" at times.

Anyway, Ais is my Bro Farez, she call him by his "pet" name.

Neelu's 1st Bhangra Party

The occasion is Sharan's 21st Birthday Party.

On 28th June 2007, a Foodfair was held by my school. Each class has their individual stalls to man. We are also given 'shift' duties. 3 lil tots at a time, while the rest stay & rest in their classroom. It was such a busy day as the crowd starts pouring in after 11:30am. My class, sells Chicken Salad & Chick Peas. Papa & Mummy came around 11:15am & was there to support our sale. My Nani came at abot 12 noon to give us support as well. As soon as my 'shift' ended, I joined Papa & Mummy for lunch. We had Mee Soto (by K1 students), drank some Barley & had some Chicken Popiahs as well. After the good lunch, Mummy changed me AGAIN and Papa put me to sleep. Overall, we had such a fun-filled day!! Thank you Papa & Mummy for enrolling me in this school. It gives me alot of learning opportunities & fun as well. Also, thank you to all my teachers for their hardwork& patience!!! ALL THE PIX HAVE BEEN UPLOADED HERE

How do you make a Chicken Salad

Well, this is how Neelu & her classmates did it.

All this is to prepare them for their BIG DAY tomorrow!!

They will be holding a food fair in the school tomorrow from 11am-1pm. So for those of you I have invited, please try to make yourself free & support them!!

This week is a "busy" week for Neelu. Yesterday, she went for her 1st ever EXCURSION to the Singapore Science Centre. Since that was her 1st time, I went along with her.

We left the school by about 9am. The kids were put in a coach with seatbelts. After all were buckled up, we set off. Neelu get so excited in the bus, especially with the teachers singing along with them their favourite nursery rhymes.

Once we reach Science Centre, we were brought in to the discovery zone & later to the Eco Garden where there is a Tree House. We climbed up to the top & there the lil Tots were given a piece of paper & crayon to do some shading of the picture of animals that live at the tree house such as lizards, squirrels, birds & etc..

By around 11:30am, they were taken to MacDonalds for their lunch. After lunch, they have their toilet break & then were brought into the LIFE Discovery Zone. There are chicks, hamsters, mice & etc.. There also some kind of display to show the different ways of using energy & water. This is where the lil Tots had the most fun coz they were splashing the water with all their might & they got ALL wet.

However, that is ok coz after that, the coach came to pick us up & we left the place.

By about 3pm, we reached home. I bath & changed her, without being told to, she walks into her room & up on her bed. In just minutes, she dozed off to LALA LAND for more than 3 HOURS!!

Finally, a long awaited well deserved break for all of us!

4 Days 3 Nights Resort Holiday

By 6:30am tomorrow, off we will go to Cherating. Our first time driving up this far...

Whats more exciting is that we are going in a very BIG GROUP, about 20 of us consisting of my paternal cuzzins, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, my bro & SIL! Meaning a convoy of 3 cars & a van!! We have booked 2 units of a 2-bedroom apartment here!

This morning, I was surprised by an advance birthday gift from my best colleague, NISA.

Its really so sweet of her to get me a gift, and its not any ordinary gift.

She bought me this!!

Yeah, though I dun really cook BUT this will definitely MOTIVATE me to do more cooking coz it contain recipes of my favourite star's favourite food!!!!

All this while never once have I ever mentioned any NEGATIVE stuff about my in-laws or any unhappiness they might have ACCIDENTALLY caused me or I caused them.

However, after coming across my hubby’s youngest sister blogspace, I FELT SO DAMN HURT & CHEATED!!!

Especially to read on her previous posts dated as far back as a year ago!!

Saadiah, let me make myself clear here on this BLOG (coz I know you read my blog!) since you too vent your frustrations online!

I HATE IT when anybody TALK about MY FAMILY!

You must be surprised to know that I came across your blog, & just for your info, now your brother Azim, is reading your blog too. How I came across your blog is becoz my SIL got thru ur link from her blogger friend, That same SIL whom you commented on in one of your posts!

First of all, neither of my family members ever look down on ANY OF YOU! If you need to know, ask ASAD how well my aunts, mum, cuzzins & even my LATE DAD treated him whenever he was around with us. Maybe because he is not so SNOBBISH nor "QUIET".

Secondly, you dun have to judge my SIL this way,

"even her sil who looks so sweet n all neva once spoke 2 us on d 3 occasions tt v met xcept once just now wen she told me, " des an empty chair over der." i replied tt it's taken!

Point 3 –

"each time v have 2 face her relatives, dey juz look at us in a way liek we're sum poor gals from a poor family n dey're liek d rich ones, get wat i mean. " –

Just for your info, we have never been so proud that way & never thought of ourselves that HIGHLY! Unlike your family member, who ever passed a remark about me coming from a broken family & that means that I am not fit to be MARRIED to YOUR BROTHER!!! WTH, do u think your family is so perfect??!

Point 4 –

Just in case you forgot, NEELU is my daughter & I have all the right to speak to her in a any language I like, just as Azim & his family has the right to speak to her on URDU! If u felt that suffocated, you have all the right to tell ur BROTHER that you wanna LEAVE instead of staying on just to get JUICY stuff to gossip about! And also, I am a local SINGAPOREAN & am brought up speaking in MALAY, so let me remind you once again Neelu will need to understand her MOTHER-TONGUE too! And she have to grow-up not being so RACIST & BIASE.

Point 5 –

Why must you feel that way?? She is not only YOUR NIECE! She is their niece too……. & Who are you to judge if my nephew whom we were "pairing" Neelu with is good for her or not! FOR GOD’S SAKE, she is just 2 yrs old. And I am not those kind of parents who will force my children to marry anyone I LIKE! WE WERE JUST PLAYING AROUND & TEASING ONE ANOTHER!! Maybe this is one thing u will never understand coz ur relationship wif ur cuzzins are so FAKE! I definitely DO NOT WANT Neelu to grow up being so FAKE!

– "d food was great n all but yet dos 2 suckers didnt even eat d food wich i cooked with so much of pain n trouble despite fasting! huh, goondus! n wtf was wrong wit her fter returning frm muhammadiyah, dunt tell me she suddenly hated cuming 2 my hse fter spending 2hrs ++ wit her relatives der?? or was it tt she was hungry n feeling very warm n my bro was still very full after his prata breakfast! or was it nilo who irritated d hell outta her by her incessant crying for wanting 2 bathe? i've 2 admit i seriuosly dunt liek dis behaviour of hers. each time she's liek dis, it really makes all of us very uneasy n we start wondering wat was it tt v did tt has upset her" –

Once again, your own JUDGEMENT! It also surprise me as to how rude you are in calling me names, such as "GOONDU", when at home infront of your mum you pretended to be SO POLITE & SWEET! At least, this is one thing about me which I AM PROUD OF, when I dun like someone I TELL THEM straight into their face & if need to end the relationship there & then! Anyway, yes I was moody coz I am tired, feeling so warm & NEELU’S unnecessary crying is bothering me NOT BECAUSE of the fact that I AM HUNGRY FOR THE FOOD U COOK! And in the first place, I did not ask you to COOK for me!

As with regards to how rude you wanna speak about your brother is your problem BUT just dun mess wif me unnecessarily!

Ok, now come to the point about the SMS regarding ASAD & NADIA,

Well, as for the rest of your baseless accusations about me on your post, I dun wish to elaborate here COZ I dun give a F@@K!

BUT there’s only 1 final thing I HAVE TO SAY!

You can keep the pendant! NEELU is not short of any jewellery & not so desperate for any that you have to even comment as such :

"and i got myself a 0.002 carat diamond ring in return prices very reasonably low and a pendant for nilo! still thinking when should i give it to her considering her mom's attitude the past week!!"

In my family, at least watever they get for Neelu is SINCERELY meant for her & NOT BASED on her mum’s behaviour or any of those sort!

Anyway, I am thankful for all the clothes, accessories & food that have been given to ME & my daughter all this while for the past 1yr, BUT that doesn’t mean you can just step & walk all over me anytime you like!

ANOTHER FALL!!

Not even a month since Neelu fell & cut her forehead, she had another fall AGAIN yesterday. This time she cut her chin. I really feel so sad but its fated, so I have to accept it!

However, I was very upset yesterday coz I only found out about her fall almost 2 hours after the incident. Neither me nor Hubby was informed!!

I only found out when Hubby called me during my class at about 7:30pm! They were saying that they did not tell me coz I will panic! BUT i feel as her parent I DESERVE the right to know! It really hurts!

She fell at about 5pm & most clinics were closed at that time, they brought her to my BIL's Silat School where one of his colleagues help to bandage the wound. I am thankful for the first aid given there.

Only when Hubby came back in the evening, that Neelu was brought to a clinic! I don't know why she was not brought to a 24hr clinic. Well, maybe coz they were in a panic too & did not think of that. However, had they informed either one of us, we would have told them that! In fact I am working in a children's hospital & had they told me I would have told them to bring her down to the hospital!

The clinic they finally brought her to last night just applied some iodine & did another bandage for her without even cleaning the wound properly. Looking at the bandage itself I know the job was not done well but I just don't feel like saying anything anymore, just too hurt & upset to even talk yesterday!

Last night, she did not sleep too well either, crying in between her sleep.

This morning, I took leave to bring her to see another doctor nearby my place. And I really THANK GOD that I followed my motherly instinct & did just that.

The doctor herself said that the cut need to be glued & was saying that the wound should be cleaned or else can be infected! So, just the DOC & me in the room, she is capable of removing the weird-looking bandage, cleaned off the blood stains on the chin, applied the glue & DONE.. All that was done with Neelu crying & struggling! It look so much better & in fact Neelu can eat now without feeling scared to even open her mouth!

Once we came back from the clinic, she had 2 slices of bread with Nuttella & some Nasi Lemak. And now, she is sound asleep..

Well, I have to say my daughter is NOT an angel so if she fall, its just her fault BUT i have to say that I still feel that as a PARENT I DESERVE TO KNOW & no matter how minor an injury is , TO ME if a child is injured, immediately bring her to a QUALIFIED DOCTOR!

Coz for ME especially, when a child's injury is concerned nothing is TOO MINOR!! This is MY PERSONAL opinion. That is the reason why I am always in a panic mode when anything happen to Neelu.

As for now, i just pray to ALLAH that just like the scar on her forehead, this scar will go off soon too!

Sorry for this long post coz I just need an outlet to vent it out!

New addition to our family!

Recently, Neelu have been kept busy minding her babies. Initially, she has 2 babies, Baby Botak & Baby Doll.

Baby Botak will normally be at home, though at times Neelu will still bring her along to school.

As for Baby Doll, she is always seated in the car beside Neelu.

However, since last week we have another addition to the family!

Baby Gerl is wat Neelu call her (coz this baby can say "mama" referring to Neelu, "papa" to Hubby, can cry & laugh)

Whenever the baby says "mama", Neelu will run to her & say "Yes baby, mama here, dun cry ok"

When baby says "papa", Neelu say" Papa go work ok, baby wait, papa come ok. Papa buy NEENU chocolate!" HAHAHA .. I like the last sentence, she pacified the baby BUT said papa will buy Neelu chocolates!

She is just so fond of her babies, the whole day she will spend putting her baby to sleep, feed & even will try to change the diapers.

Neelu will say," Ok baby diaper wet, mama change. Baby wait mama take diaper ok!"

Its really amazing looking at how much my Lil’ Princess has grown, she no longer speak like a baby. She speaks very clearly & can even construct a proper sentence with quite clear pronunciation.

One more thing I notice since she started school is that her vocabulary is increasing.

She even knows when to use the "ing" behind certain words. Well, that’s what I like about her going to school, she really learns a lot & absorbing like a sponge.

Also, for the last two days, during lunch I will fetch her from school & take her for snacks or even for walks before sending her back to class by 1pm & pat her to sleep for her afternoon nap. She seems to enjoy that & do not even cry when I send her back coz she knows that a few hours later I am back to fetch her home.

Even the teacher agreed that method made her feel better coz she does not feel left behind by me totally.

From now on, lunchtime will be spent with my princess… Yipppeee

Neelu is just so in love with this song, that each time its played on radio she will sing along. When it ends she'll DEMAND me or Hubby to replay it! But its impossible coz its on radio. I am trying to get it in MP3 format, so we can copy to CD & play it repeatedly in the car anytime she wants. So, if anybody has an MP3 version of this song, please share it wif me.

Finally we removed the bandage on Saturday afternoon. She screamed & that really freaked me out. However, being the brave & strong girl she is, the cry was for a few seconds then she is back to her BUBBLY & "cannot sit down quietly" self.

Thats her scar, really hope it will go off soon.

she was given 3 STITCHES for that!!!

Neelufer's 2nd Birthday LUAU

We held a LUAU themed party for Neelu’s 2nd Birthday. We booked a chalet @ the ALOHA Changi for 2 nights.

The initial plan was for to start the party at 3:30pm, however due to the sudden heavy downpour on that day, the party was delayed for about 2 hours. Thank GOD, even the guests came late, so we had more time to do the setup. Also due to the rain, we have to change our plan, from having it outdoors to indoors. With help from Hubby, bro & SIL, mum, aunt & my bestfren, we managed to finish up the deco & set the place right by about 5pm. As the guests start coming in, they were given LEIS & floral hair clips. They were also asked to guess the number of candies in the jar! We then begin with a game called , The Musical Palm Tree where the kiddos have to dance aroud an inflatable palm tree till music stop (Something like Freeze & Dance).

After that, we had the cake cutting ceremony. The 3D Hula girl cake is a gift from my Bro & SIL to Neelu. Its so beautiful & yummy too…

Neelu was dressed according to the theme too, she is the HULA GIRL for the day. My cuzzin from Canada bought this pretty costume for her.

After the kids have their cake & the rain has also stopped, we took them out to do THE LIMBO! Mind you, this is not an all kids game, the ADULTS played too, including me!

HAHAHAHA… This is one fun game which all of us enjoyed. After the LIMBO, the kids played with bubbles, water gun & paper balls given to them in their goodie pail. On top of that, they were given a pair of sunglasses & some candies too. There were also some sparklers to play with.

Just after 7pm, we start to Whack the Pinata! This is another crazy game coz apart from being blindfolded, the kids/adults have to actually hit the Pinata that was tied on a bamboo pole held by my bro & cuzzin. So they Pinata actually "travelled" around the hall!

However for the adults, they were not only blindfolded, they were also dressed up in the Grass skirt & bikini made out of plastic plate!

The party ended quite late, so my HULA princess had a late night! After the toddlers went to sleep, the adults had another game. We played the PICTIONARY MANIA! By about 6am, finally everyone went to sleep! The next day was basically an R&R day for all of us. We just sit around eating & watching TV. After feeling so bored doing nothing, we decided to go outdoor & have fun. I set up the portable swimming pool for Neelu to play in. Changed her into her new bikini & she had a splashing good time!

For us the ADULTS, we played another game. We played with WATER BALLOONS!!!

It was really fun with lots of laughter & pain too!! The pain of slipping (and splitting by Black Pearl), falling & being hit by those water BOMBS!

Our Princess Neelufer turns 2 on 16th Feb 2007

Our PRINCESS NEELUFER is finally 2 years old!!! And I have to admit that she is really in the stage called "The Terrible Two"! Anyway, she is still our sweet lil princess. On the 16th Feb, both me & hubby were on leave coz we wanna spend the day with our lil gerl. What we did on that day:- * In the morning, I took her down to the playground & bring some bubble for her to play with

* After lunch, we went to Darul Ihsan Orphanage to give them a cake & some goodie bags for any of the kids there whose birthday happens to be in February too, so they can celebrate.

* By about 3pm, we went down to her school, with another cake to celebrate with her classmates... She had so much FUN there!

In the evening, we went over to MIL's place for Neelu to take a nap while we dress up to attend my hubby's cuzzin's wedding (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). Check out the PIXX HERE & THERE

On 15th Feb '07, Neelu's Dadi celebrated her birthday in advance. Though Neelu was having fever that day, she still enjoyed her party. They bought her a nice Barney cake which made her DAY!

Today, the 14th February bring me memories of those days when we were still dating.. I HATE FLOWERS so, I can never be spotted carrying flowers on V day or any other day.

However, years ago what we do on this day is, we will go for short trips to nearby islands out of S'pore or spend time together like having dinner, go for movies & etc..

But now, since the day Neelu came into our lives, all these are OVER. We no longer think of it as any special day coz now in the month of February, 16th is the most special day as it marks our Princess Neelufer's Birthday.

The last time we so-called celebrate V Day is 2 days before I gave birth to Neelu.

What we did on that day was, in the morning Hubby went to werk & since I am already on leave, me & my bestfren, Manisha went shopping @ Causeway Point for more deco stuff to decorate Neelu's room. We came back in the afternoon, Manisha helped me paint the cornices on the room's ceiling & do some climbing up & down to paste stickers on the wall.

By evening, when Hubby came back & John(Manisha's bf) is off-duty, all the 4 of us went to Swensen's @ Northpoint for some Ice-Cream & dinner. I still remember that night when they pestered me to go & give birth after dinner (they thought giving birth is as easy as going to the toilet to poo is it?!). They were bugging me & Hubby even tell me that if I give birth that nite, he will buy me a BIG POOH BEAR(I love teddy bears)..

HAHAHAHA..Crazy people! I told them that i dun wish to give birth on V Day coz my daughter will lose out on Gifts when she have a BF later! And that made Hubby SHUT UP coz he dun like to even think abt his princess having BF, typical of DADS!

Well, now back to 14th FEb 2007, what we received this year is one of the sweetest gift we ever got in LIFE apart from my princess of course!

Its a heart shaped bread which they spread Jam on & sprinkle chocolate rice!

Hmmm.. actually I don't have much to blog about today. However, since I amquite free now, I might as well upload a vid of my gerl in school today, walking hand in hand wif her classmate, which i find so adorable!!

2nd Feb 2007, we had a division party at the staff lounge with Arabian Nite as the theme. Neelu joined us for the party as well. And she just enjoyed all those belly dancing performances & even tried it a lil!

Went to the Kallang Stadium to watch the LIONS ROAR in the finals on Wednesday. Once again, we made it! Since it will be the last match before the stadium will be demolished, we were a lil emotional as that place feels like our playground! It brought back lots of memories for us, especially during the early 90's when Malaysia Cup was the "in" thing.

As for me, my bro & cuzzins, it brought back so many memories of us watching matches wif my late-dad. We still remember those days when he will fetch us from school early just to catch the soccer matches(he even lied to my bro's teacher saying that our granpa is sick & he need to bring my bro back earlier whereas we dun have grandpas anymore, both our grandpas have passed away even before we were born!), also when we took a flight all the way to KL right after my cuzzin's engagement just to catch Singapore in the finals. My dad was a very BIG SOCCER FAN too.. And that somehow made me suddenly miss him as well...

Anyway, before I get too emotional, go & check out the pixx!

In the meantime, I will be busy preparing tonite's party held by my Divison.. Its the Arabian Nite! Neelu will be joining me for the party, so keep a look out for my next update of my lil Arabian Princess in action!!

THE KALLANG ROAR!!!!!!!

Saturday is one of the most memorable night for me! It feels GOOD going down memory lane. It brought back the memories of those years when Singapore was in the Malaysia Cup. And whats most memorable is the VICTORY for Singapore & I am so happy to be part of the crowd.

I was there with my hubby & daughter as well as my Cuzzins..Just like the good ole days.

Neelu was so excited coz this is the first time for her. She also join the crowd (including her crazy mummy!) screaming, clapping & she even shout the "We Want Goal! We Want Goal" However, the bad thing is that she also followed the crowd(EXCLUDING ME!) shout the B***O word! Oh My God! We were so shocked but thankfully that was said only once afterwhich she forgot about it totally! HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Kids are just like PARROTS.

All I have to say is that Neelu LOVES soccer just like her Papa!

Papa's New Phone

Yesterday, Hubby bought a new phone for himself. Its the Samsung Ultra, which Neelu thought was for her! So after inserting the SIM card, Neelu was happily looking forward to play with it. However, she was so disappointed when we do not let her touch that she become so EMOTIONAL!!! Watch the clip & you'll find out!

A BELATED EIDUL ADHA WISHES

TO ALL MY MUSLIM FRENS!!!

Just an update, yesterday my lil Princess attended school for the first time! It was a very special day for her & us too...

She adapted to the environment quite well, except for certain times when some kids cry asking for their mummies, she will cry too coz maybe suddenly remember ME! Apart from those few times, the teachers said she is doing very well. Her cryings were not of those prolonged ones & she can be pacified easily too..

However, from HER feedbacks she said "neelu like school, neelu play slide weeeee!!" "cheacher chayang Neelu" .. SO that is good enough for me to know that she enjoy school.

This morning when I sent her to school, she ran to the door, pick up a stool, sat on it & told me to help her take her shoes & socks off. Then she pick her shoe up & kept in the shoe cubicle meant for her(they have her name there).

The moment, I opened the glass door, she RAN all the way to her classroom & start playing wif her frens before she have her breakfast! When i left her after breakfast, she even gave me a flying kiss!

(but started crying a while later when another boy start crying) hehehehe...

Anyway, when i went to "peep" at her this afternoon at abt 2pm, she is sleeping so soundly hugging her Mickey Mouse bolster(her nani made for her)!

Actually there more things to type, but currently I am quite bz, so will add on more later!!

Till I upload her school pixx, here are pics of last week's came @ THE CAGE. We followed hubby together with my BIL, bro & cuzzins there! Their game started at 12midnight & end at 2am. It was FUN!!

I am back from my weekend getaway. Well, the nearby island I was reffering to is Batam!! The hotel we stayed in is very nice & free from all those unwanted "scenes" (if you kow what I mean). Anyway, we stayed in Novotel Hotel which is very children & family friendly.

Yes, my baby won again yesterday in another Baby Show held in our hometown, Sengkang West. She came in 1st again for the second time.

She was very polite yesterday when the doctors a.k.a the judges examining her. She say thank you & even please as & when necessary without me having to prompt her, that made the doctor said" She is a very polite little girl."

Therefore, I suppose that earned her this HUGE trophy.

A big hamper & a "golden" crown :)

For now, here are some of the pixx, more will be uploaded later when I receive them from the organisers. So, we got home at about 1pm, soon after both papa & daughter doze off to dreamland. Later in the evening, our frens came over for dinner. We had seafood which the guys went out to buy. After we had dinner, we decided to try out my new Cotton Candy Machine!

Thats why all of us had Cotton Candy for desert.

Just an update...

Last weekend was a truly R&R day for me & my family.. All we did since Friday nite was stay at home, watch DVDs, go out to the nearest food court for our breakfast/lunch/dinner, play with Neelu, sleep & wake up really late the next day. And today, hubby still feel tired(lazy) to go to work. SO both father & daughter continue to sleep, while I wake up @ 7am to get ready to work. Then at around 2pm, both father & daughter came to meet me at my workplace for lunch. We had lunch in McDonalds. At 3pm, we went to Neelu's school(child care centre) to collect her school uniform as well as attend a short orientation coz she will be joining their toddler class from January 2007 onwards When the teacher saw us, she said "So this is Neelufer, we've been expecting her since morning!" Today was supposed to be the first day of school but I request for her to start in January 2007, so i think there was a miscommunication somewhere. Anyway, she was so happy in the school. She tried on her uniforms obidiently & even said Hello to the teachers. While we were having some discussion with the teacher, Neelu was happily making herslef comfortable with the surrounding!

Her lil cubicle for her shoes & bag has actually been prepared with her name on it. Even her lil communication book is ready. After bringing her around the school, she did something which normally other kids don't. She refuse to leave the school!!! She don't even bother that me & hubby walked away without her. In fact, when we carried her out, she was crying coz she do not want to leave! HAHAHAHA!! Well, we'll see what happen when she has to go there everyday from January onwards! Now, both father & daughter together with my youngest brother, Saif & my mum are on their way to JB, while I am here in the office WORKING!!! Its ok, coz as planned they will be fetching me after work & we'll be going to my Mum's place coz today is my brother Farez's 26th Birthday! Anyway, here are some pixx of my nephew's 9th Birthday on 29th November 2006.

Weekend Updates

On Friday, hubby was on leave & I was on half day leave. In the morning after hubby bath & feed Neelu breakfast, they got ready & left home to pick me up from work.

From there we head to Impact Models for Neelu's final photo shoot, then off to United Square to meet my mum & bro, Saif. We had lunch there & mum bought Neelu a dress at one of the boutique.

By around 3pm, we went to Vivo City... I have to say the place is so huge, Neelu got bored of window shopping! So we took her to the water playground & there she had the best time!

On Saturday after the Baby Show, we went home to R & R before going to my Bro's place in the evening. We spent the night there. As usual, Neelu the queen get he favourite food. My bro cooked Neelu's favourite Maggi Goreng with Neelu "assisting him"

On Sunday, left my bro's place at abt 11am. Upon reaching home, Neelu had her afternoon nap, while we change & get dressed to attend a wedding & my best fren's birthday party. By 11:30pm we finally got home! Here's a clip of Neelu & Manisha's weird dance!

We were so tired that this morning I have to force myself to work. Also for the first time, I DRANK COFFEE!!! Just to keep myself awake!!!!

Dr Neelufer on Duty

Since her discharge from hospital just before Eid, she has been very interested in "check check". Therefore on Saturday, we bought her a Doctor's Playset & since then she has become a very "busy doctor", checking on her "patients"! Anyway, Saturday was quite a busy day for her, coz before she become a doctor, she was a very busy cleaner (helping Papa with spring cleaning ! )

as well as a nanny, taking her lil "baby" for walks in the pram!

On Sunday, we went visiting again. First to hubby's frens home in Potong pasir for Diwali open house, then to my bestfren Ayu's place for another openhouse cum her 2nd newborn son ceremony @ Bukit Batok. From there, off we went to my cuzzin's place till we finally went home close to 10pm. Neelu was so tired that she was fast asleep the moment we reach home. HERE ARE MORE PIXX:-

On Saturday, just before we begin our "rounds", we went to JB to buy Neelu's milk , pampers & some other stuff. By about 2pm, we met up wif my mom, bros & SIL @ my mum's bestfriend home in Yishun, before going off to a couple more places. And finally to my youngest uncle's home in Bedok.

On Sunday, we started our rounds very early. We left home at 10am & came back at 10pm!! We started off wif my bro's place in Choa Chu Kang, and ended our day at my Uncle's place in Tampines. As we went in a very big group, there's quite a lot of co-ordinating done. First, to allocate the number of people in the cars. Though we have two lorries, it was not a good idea for them to be going around in lorries coz the weather is so unpredictable. So we had in all, 2 lorries, 1 8-seater MPV, 5 Cars & 1 Bike to accomodate about 35 of us!

BACK TO WORK!!!!!!!

I've finally uploaded the pics of us during EID. Below is a lil summary of what we've been up to the last few days. On the eve of Eid, me & hubby were on half day, so after werk we went to Tekkah Market to buy some meat, then to the tailor to collect Neelu's suit before fetching Neelu from my MIL's place. By about 3:30pm, we reached home. Immediately I start preparing my dishes, while hubby clean up the house, hang curtains, lay the carpets, vacuum & mop , wipe tables & etc.. with the HELP & BOSSING around from our lil Neelu ... On the first day of Eid, after hubby came back from his prayers, we had our breakfast before leaving for my MIL's place. From there we went to my Mum's place, then to visit my paternal grandma & finally to my mum's eldest sis place.. Only 4 places we were so tired!! However, we were on leave the next day, so not too bad On the 2nd day of Eid as me & hubby on leave. We went for our rounds again but we start at a later time. We left home at almost 4pm, "covered" 4 places before heading home. Reached home close to 11pm. Really tired but was FUN. Anyway, this weekend, we will be going out in a big group with my cuzzin, uncle & aunts.. So looking forward to it, coz definitely gonna be CRAZY!!! Hello to everyone...

For those whom have been wondering where have I been, well I am actually very busy now coz my princess is down with high fever, cough, phlegm, and hospitalised since yesterday... So till she is well , I dun think I'll have time to blog.

On top of that, even my nephew is down wif the same problem & also warded. SO now both of them in the same hospital, but different wards:(

Weekend at the home of Datuk F & Datin H

On Saturday morning, we went to JB again , to join my cuzzin the Datuk & Datin for Iftar in their home. And at the same time, to do more shopping for Neelu's Eid clothings!! Together with us , are my elder cuzzin Fauzi & his wife with their 3 kiddos...

On the first day, we went shopping @ Angsana. As Eid is approaching, we did shopping for our children... Loads of it infact !

After shopping we went back to the home of the DATUK & DATIN for iftar.. We had a table full of food & variety of drinks!!

Then on Day 2, the kiddos woke up as early as 7:45am, & without bathing , head to the play room for loads of fun & toys!!

After playing, we gave them a good bath in the Jacuzzi.., While the kids were bathing, the guyz bathe their cars..

That is when Neelu decide to give Papa a helping hand...

Finally at abt 12:30pm, we fed them lunch & off we went to Giant for alil bit more shopping before finally heading HOME!!!

Princess Neelu finally got her ears pierced...

On Friday, 29th September me & hubby took half a day leave to send our princess to the clinic & get her ears pierced.

We chose a purplish pink stud for her.. But the moment the doc did the first shot, she gave such aloud cry, saying"mummy pain , pain , pain" & that really broke my heart!

I was tempted to not continue with the second hole. But hubby told me to just get it over & done with asap. So we held her tight , & the doc gave another shot. By this time, she was crying louder.

However, the moment I took her out & bring her to shop for those kiddy rides, her crying stopped. Till today, the earing is nicely in place, she did not touch nor try to pull it. She is happy wif it especially when i said she look very preety... hehehe..

Yesterday afternoon , after so much of brainstorming wif my cuzzins & bro over MSN on where to go, we finally decided on Tepak Sireh Restaurant. They have a Ramadhan Buffet for S$16.90 nett per person.

The place is somewhere near the Sultan Mosque. Since its nearby my office, my bro & wife volunteered to fetch Neelu from MIL's place.

By about 6:45pm, all of us are there... Ready to break our fast :)

The place was nice , food good , the only downside is that, there's not much variety for a BUFFET..

However, all of us had a good time so it still WORTH it

Now, let me share wif u wat we did over the weekend....

On Saturday, we took Neelu to the Wild Wild Wet for the first time. All thanks to my SIL, Aysha coz she got 10 free passes!! However, in exchange for those passes, hubby & my bro got fined for not placing enough parking coupons! HAHAHA...

Anyway, we had loads of fun, especially my Lil Princess who refused to come out from the pool though she has been in it for more than 3 HOURS!!!

The weather on Saturday was great.. was cloudy but never rain at all.. I enjoy swimming in such weather. We left home at around noon & came back at abt 9:30pm. Neelu was so tired that she slept almost immediately after I have bathed & changed her!

On Sunday, we did a lil bit of cleaning to our home coz all of us woke up quite late. Neelu woke up close to her lunch time, therefore while Papa bathe her, Mummy prepare lunch!

After her lunch, (only HERS) coz we were fasting,she did some reading with Papa before we went to the supermarket to buy stuff for me to cook. Since we will be breaking fast at home, I decide to do some cooking.

I cooked "Lemak Cili Padi Ikan", Sambal Prawns, Fried Lady Finger with egg & white rice! Blueberry Juice for drinks & Apples for desert!

Neelu loves fish as well.. She was quite obidient during dinner.. Eat her food WITHOUT any fuss, she even eat her apples properly till she gave a LOUD burp hehehe..

Nothing much happened after that, she played soccer wif her Papa again, before finally off to DREAM LAND!!!

Our 3rd Wedding Anniversary - 19/09/2006

19th September 2006 mark our 3rd wedding anniversary. We decided to take leave on that day to spend time together with our princess. Our initial plan for the day was to take her swimming in the morning, then before going to JB for dinner & shopping, we plan to visit my late dad's cemetery.

However, at around 9am I received a phone call from a cousin saying that a distant grand-aunt of mine just passed away. Therefore, we cancelled the swimming plan.

Left home at around 12pm to meet the rest(my aunts,cuzzin,uncles & my bro) at Masjid Khalid, where the guys did their Zohor prayers as well as the Jenazah prayers, while we wait in the car. After the prayers, we left for the cemetery for the burial service. From there, we went to my late-dad's cemetery.

Neelu really caught me by suprise when she suddenly said "Nana"(maternal grandfather) when we were nearing the site. I smiled & said, "yes darling, we going to visit him". While i was clearing the dried leaves & flowers, my lil angel squat beside me & did the same. She look so happy doing it :), after which when we were abt to leave, i whispered to her to say "bye bye" & she turned to the site & said it softly too.. She really behaved very well when we were there. I noticed that since the first time I brought her there when she is still an infant till now.

Anyway from there, we went over to my hubby's paternal gradma's grave site which was a few rows away from my dad's coz she passed away abt a month before my dad.

At around 3pm, we left the cemetery & sent my aunt home, While hubby went to Sunplaza to get his shoes repaired, I went up to my aunt's place to give my lil princess a shower before going off to JB.

We reached JB at around 5:30pm, had our late lunch cum early dinner @ Singgah Selalu. We had GOOD food :). By abt 7pm, we were in Jusco Tebrau(really good place for shopping!) We shopped & shopped & shopped till around 9:30pm. **Still, not enough! Maybe going again this weekend! hehehe**

Reached home by about 10:30pm, changed my princess & all three went to DREAMLAND!!!

My Lil Princess 1st Library Card

Yesterday, we went to the National Library @ Bedok to collect Neelu's Library Card. Last week, during the Baby Show @ Kampong Chai-Chee CC, we signed her up at the Mobile Library there. So now, she is officially a MEMBER! HAHAHA!!

Anyway, over the last few days, we've been into the Shopping Mood, we got a few things which we actually needed & this weekend will be getting 2 more things. I will upload the pics of the stuff once I have them all set up..

Now, to my next topic. On 11th September at abt 6:40pm, my bestfren Ayu gave birth to her second boy. So, the next day during lunch, I rushed down to Thomson Medical Centre to see my 2nd godson, Sha'Ryan! He is so ADORABLE!!!!!!! Her eldest son, Sha'Aniq is my eldest godson, & oh my, he is such a big boy now! I have not seen him for quite a while. He is so SMART & TALKATIVE! Hehehe.. So here are some pics of my godsons.

About my princess, nowadays she has been very mischievious, always upto funny & weird things. Especially now that she can talk better, most of the time she will try to get away by saying "mummy syowie, papa syowie" "I leb u mummy, I leb u Papa" & smile away...

We had a small celebration for my hubby's 32nd Birthday at my MIL's place..

She cooked Chiken Briyani & my SIL bought a Swensons Ice Cream cake for him. As for me, I still owe him his birthday gift!!!

The 2nd post for today is just to share a good news with those who have been reading my blog !

My lil Princess once again won the 2nd Prize in another Baby Show held at Kampong Chai-Chee CC yesterday. This is the most special one for me coz 23 years ago, I too participated in Children's Day Fancy Dress competition held at the same CC & also wearing the same outfit as my princess and that is a KIMONO!!! Its so Nostalgic for me...hehehe...

However the only difference is my LIL PRINCESS IS A WINNER whereas, her mummy is not. But its ok, coz her winning has made both me & her papa so proud of her too...
